Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience managing projects and portfolios in an Engineering or Engineering IT setting
- Hands-on experience with establishing or working within a demand management and project intake framework
- Strong working knowledge of the PLM, CAD, and CAE application landscape
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and facilitate data-driven decision-making
- Confidence in presenting portfolio status, risks, and recommendations to executive leaders
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational capabilities
Responsibilities
- Oversee demand intake, prioritization, and governance for Engineering IT projects
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance PLM, CAD, and CAE applications
- Plan, execute, monitor, and report on various projects within the engineering applications portfolio
- Deliver clear and concise status reports and insights to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Facilitate discussions on trade-offs and assist leadership in aligning priorities with capacity and business objectives
- Implement Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies to manage work efficiently
Description
We are looking for an experienced Engineering IT Portfolio / Project Manager to join our Engineering Applications Management team. This role is essential for ensuring that our engineering teams are equipped with the right applications, tools, and processes to design and deliver high-quality HVAC-R products. You will play a pivotal role in managing multiple initiatives within a structured demand management framework, helping to clarify priorities and govern the continuous flow of technology requests.
