Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing IT / ERP roles
- Previous leadership experience in managing ERP teams, including developers and analysts
- Strong grasp of manufacturing processes: work orders, shop floor control, inventory management, and barcoding/RF
- Familiarity with IBM i / AS/400 environments
- Ability to read and interpret RPG / RPG ILE and CL code
- Experience in ERP change management
- Excellent business communication and leadership abilities
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of ERP developers and business analysts focused on manufacturing and finance
- Collaborate closely with production, operations, and finance leaders
- Manage the gathering, prioritization, and delivery of requirements
- Oversee ERP change management and release processes
- Direct enhancements related to shop floor control, inventory, RF barcoding, and EDI initiatives
- Assess feasibility, cost, and strategy for manufacturing technology projects
- Act as the IT partner for operational enhancements including workflow changes, automation, and RF expansion
- Support ERP integrations with MES, Boomi, and other strategic tools (providing oversight without direct involvement in builds)
- Prepare the organization for future cloud ERP migrations
