Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of IT policies and controls within the financial services sector, including frameworks like SOX, NIST, and PCI.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across various stakeholders and teams, while also being able to work independently based on tasks assigned.
- Experience managing end-to-end Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs with a comprehensive understanding of the entire lifecycle.
- Experienced in policy management and IT.
- Familiarity with the Banking or Financial Services industry and its controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead existing IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs by fostering partnerships between Information Security, Technology, and Line of Business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to effectively communicate security needs and ensure alignment with InfoSec initiatives.
- Oversee IT regulatory reviews, IT audits, and controls testing across the enterprise, while preparing reports on findings and required remediation actions.
- Stay informed on regulatory policies and trends, adapting to changes that may impact the organization.
- Ensure compliance with policies while managing exceptions within the framework of the organization.
- Manage vendor cybersecurity risk for critical business services.
- Develop future IT GRC best practices by applying insights gained and creating new programs, policies, and guidelines to align with evolving regulations.
- Build standardized documents and processes, incorporating automation where possible to enhance the IT GRC Framework adoption.
