Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support for approximately 1200 devices including laptops, PCs, printers, and scanners
- Troubleshoot and rectify hardware problems on Windows 10/11 machines
- Perform device refresh tasks such as imaging, deployment, and migration
- Utilize MCM for imaging and client management tasks
- Maintain and support Active Directory environments
- Support Apple iPads and Teams AV equipment using JAMF
- Assist with OT and IT servers and jump boxes
- Organize and coordinate the installation of TVs and PCs for dashboards
- Lead the IT aspects of badge readers, camera systems, and site security systems
- Initiate and manage the CAPEX approval process and submit PO to vendors
- Handle major and severe incident management, ensuring timely communication and follow-up
- Quickly respond to escalations and maintain open communication with involved parties
- Actively participate in site project meetings, shift handover discussions, and accountability sessions
- Manage Service Desk incidents with timely ticket entry and closure in Service Now
Description
We are looking for an Onsite IT Endpoint Specialist to provide comprehensive technical support in a Windows 10/11 environment for approximately 1200 devices including laptops, PCs, and printers at our Lapeer, MI location. This role serves as a critical link between IT and site teams on automation assignments, emphasizing troubleshooting, customer service, and effective internal communication. This is a Contract to Hire position with a competitive hourly rate of $32.00 - $37.00, as well as a suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
