Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support for a range of devices including laptops, PCs, and printers
- Troubleshoot and fix hardware issues on Windows 10/11 systems
- Perform device refresh activities such as imaging and deployment
- Utilize MCM for imaging and client management
- Support Active Directory environments
- Assist with Apple iPads and Teams AV hardware using JAMF
- Manage support for OT and IT servers along with jump boxes
- Coordinate installation of TVs and PCs for operational dashboards
- Lead the IT component of security systems such as badge readers and cameras
- Facilitate CAPEX approval processes and vendor PO submissions
- Manage severe and major incidents promptly, ensuring proper communication
- Engage actively in site project and accountability meetings
- Maintain timely ticket management within the Service Desk system
- Contribute to site data and automation initiatives
- Participate in major Kaizen events at the site
- Implement predictive and preventive maintenance for technical equipment
- Plan for and execute regular patching and maintenance activities
- Support Tulip system functionality, including software installation and iPad management
- Serve as the primary liaison for Tulip support and troubleshoot related issues
Description
We are seeking an Onsite IT Endpoint Specialist to deliver hands-on technical support in a Windows 10/11 environment for approximately 1200 devices, including laptops, PCs, printers, and other peripherals. This is a crucial role acting as the communication bridge between IT and site teams on automation projects designated by our IT leadership. Located in Lapeer, MI, this fully onsite, Contract to Hire position offers a pay range of $32.00 - $37.00/hr.
