Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical degree preferred
- Proven experience providing IT support in a Windows 10/11 environment
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of internal customer and stakeholder management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high sense of urgency
- Proficient in time management and prioritization
- Familiarity with automation and manufacturing systems is advantageous
- Experience with Active Directory and MCM for client management
- Open to continuous learning and improvement
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support for laptops, PCs, printers, and other devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues on Windows operating systems
- Execute device refreshing, including imaging and deployment
- Utilize MCM for efficient client management
- Support Active Directory environment maintenance
- Assist with Apple iPads and AV system equipment
- Support network servers and perform jump box maintenance
- Coordinate installation of TVs and computers for project dashboards
- Oversee IT components of security systems at the site
- Manage major incident responses and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Actively participate in project and accountability meetings
- Ensure timely entry and resolution of Service Desk tickets
- Involve in automation and Kaizen projects for continuous improvement
- Conduct proactive maintenance for all supported devices
- Support Tulip systems and update databases as needed
- Write new applications using low-code tools as trained
Description
We are seeking an Onsite IT Endpoint Specialist for our Lapeer, MI location. This role requires a dedicated individual to provide comprehensive IT support in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment. As a member of our team, you will work with approximately 1200 devices and collaborate closely with site teams and IT leadership on automation projects. This contract-to-hire position offers a pay range of $32.00 - $37.00 per hour, along with a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and time-off options.
