Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles
- Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Background in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis
- Excellent data analysis abilities (Excel, IAM tools, Active Directory / LDAP directories)
- Familiarity with handling highly confidential or sensitive information
- Proficient in gathering requirements, documentation, and conducting impact analysis
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, inclusive of technical documentation
Responsibilities
- Assist in enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) undertakings, concentrating on service accounts
- Lead efforts for the cleanup of service accounts, which includes:
- Identifying undocumented, inactive, or misused accounts
- Executing LDAP queries and performing directory evaluations
- Notifying accounts due for remediation or removal with solid justification
- Manage the cleanup process and clarify ownership of shared service accounts by:
- Discovering responsible teams and their appropriate usage
- Verifying correct ownership, access levels, and configurations
- Define, advocate for, and implement service account standards in alignment with NIST guidelines
- Convert security standards into practical guidance for:
- Application teams
- System owners
- End users and shared service groups
- Support organizational change management, communication, and stakeholder alignment
- Collaborate with technical teams to foster automation, enhance tools, and improve processes
- Gather requirements, carry out impact analyses, and document current and future processes
- Assist in project management tasks such as creating roadmaps, organizing work in phases (waves), recognizing gaps, and tracking advancement
Description
We are looking for an IAM Business Analyst to drive and enhance ongoing projects within a Privileged Access Management (PAM) program. This role emphasizes governance of service accounts, alignment with security standards, and coordination among teams to fortify identity and access controls across the organization. The analyst will collaborate with security engineers, developers, business units, and vendors, playing a key role in both process refinement and execution. The position requires adaptability, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid contract role based in Milwaukee, WI, offering competitive pay and various benefits.
