Requirements
Must:
- Self-motivated with an engineering mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in interpreting manufacturer instructions
- Experience with network switch programming
- Familiarity with IP camera programming
- Capability to execute and create programs and scripts
- Operational knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
- Operational experience with switch configuration and programming
- Understanding of Analog/IP networks, switches, wireless systems, routers, UPS, and CCTV
- Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office, ServiceNow, and secureCRT
- Experience in help desk support and customer service
- Able to efficiently troubleshoot network issues
- Familiarity with Windows 10 and Active Directory
- Experience with ticketing systems
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with project managers and field technicians on customer-facing projects
- Record data from projects such as check-in/check-out times and work completion documentation
- Follow project guidelines to ensure successful execution of support requirements
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field technicians via phone, chat, and email
- Develop, modify, and implement processes for diverse project requirements as needed
- Remotely configure and program network cabling and equipment like hubs, switches, CCTV, and UPS
- Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network-connected end-user devices
- Verify and configure port settings and network configurations remotely
- Assist with any additional technical needs that arise for the teams
- Comply with all project safety requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors
