Requirements

Must:
- Associate degree in a technical or computer-related field, or equivalent relevant experience - 2-5 years of related work experience - Minimum 1 year in a help desk or customer support role focusing on various hardware, software, and personal computer tools - Minimum 1 year experience with problem management and knowledge base tools - Minimum 1 year familiarity with retail Point of Sale systems or computing systems - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively - Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving environment - Team-oriented mindset with cooperative working skills - Proficient in delivering customer service to users with varying levels of computer proficiency - Strong technical ability and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

- Serve as the initial point of contact at the Enterprise Help Desk for user inquiries regarding information systems - Address routine issues related to hardware and software, particularly focusing on Point of Sale and End-User Support - Assist in recognizing patterns in persistent hardware, software, or systems issues - Record user problems, solutions, and new resolutions for reference using EHD tools and resources - Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality - Conduct first-level troubleshooting on systems issues, provide technical answers, and follow up to aid users in resolving their concerns - Escalate user issues to EHD Management or other Information Technology support teams as required if further assistance is necessary
