Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in HPC-focused software or systems engineering
- Extensive hands-on experience managing Linux systems (preferably RHEL)
- Proficiency in programming languages including C, C++, Python, Bash, and Ansible
- Familiarity with parallel computing models and frameworks such as MPI, OpenMP, and CUDA
- Practical experience with HPC cluster deployment and administration
- Knowledge of job scheduling and resource management tools
- Experience with high-performance networking technologies, including InfiniBand
- Proven track record in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing HPC workloads
- Understanding of ITIL principles related to incident, service, and change management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to adapt in fast-paced settings
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, manage, and maintain HPC systems on Linux (RHEL) platforms
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and fine-tune HPC clusters for engineering and simulation tasks
- Optimize parallel computing applications using tools such as MPI, OpenMP, and CUDA
- Manage cluster management and job scheduling software (e.g., Slurm, PBS, LSF)
- Troubleshoot high-speed interconnects, including InfiniBand
- Develop and sustain operational automation tools using C, C++, Python, Bash, and Ansible
- Conduct root cause analysis and engage in structured incident, problem, and change management processes aligned with ITIL standards
- Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure system stability and performance
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
