Requirements
Must:
- Proven hands-on experience with AI tools such as LangChain, LangGraph/ADK, LLMs, RAG, MCP, etc.
- Over 6 years of practical experience in data engineering, particularly in creating and maintaining spark-based ingestion and processing systems.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform data services, specifically Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, DataProc, and Cloud Composer.
- Knowledge of data lake architecture and design, with practical experience in Kafka, Airflow, etc.
- Strong proficiency in Python, essential given the AI-focused nature of the role.
Responsibilities
- Design and construct AI-enabled, cloud-native data pipelines utilizing Pyspark and Python.
- Lead the creation and implementation of scalable data platforms in a hybrid cloud environment, aiding the transition from on-premises systems to Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with principal engineers, product managers, and data engineers within an agile, matrixed organization to develop and operationalize modern data capabilities.
- Utilize AI to enhance the data engineering lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, Jira automation, code generation, pipeline creation, deployment, and post-production incident management.
- Pioneer the integration of agentic and LLM-based frameworks to automate workflows related to data pipelines, governance, quality, metadata management, and natural-language-based data access.

We are looking for a Cloud Data Platform Engineer to help us establish a cutting-edge, AI-enabled data platform for our clients Cyber Security Data Ecosystem from the ground up. This hands-on position is highly impactful, focusing on delivering innovative cloud analytics and data engineering solutions in a dynamic environment. We offer a hybrid work model based in Irving, Texas, with three days onsite and two days remote.
