Requirements

Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Full Stack Engineer role or similar position. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related discipline. - Strong proficiency in React and contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript front-end development. - Solid back-end development experience with ASP.NET (C#) and creating APIs. - Demonstrated ability to deliver applications that are data-driven with effective visualizations. - Practical experience with Power BI, Tableau, or web-based visualization technologies. - Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), including schema design and optimizing queries. - Knowledge of Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control systems. - Experience developing and maintaining comprehensive applications within cloud environments. - Understanding of data engineering practices, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles. - Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts and analytics processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Capability to convey technical decisions to non-technical audiences. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting. - Collaborative attitude with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop responsive, interactive front-end applications using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. - Build and maintain back-end services, APIs, and integrations using ASP.NET and related technologies. - Create and manage secure data exchanges while developing and consuming RESTful APIs. - Architect scalable and secure application solutions adhering to best practices. - Oversee the complete development lifecycle: from development to post-launch support. - Work closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical features. - Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to enhance performance and reliability of internal systems. - Develop and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions. - Create interactive data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and custom React components. - Apply visualization best practices and UX principles for effective data presentation. - Convert business and analytical requirements into actionable visual narratives. - Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency. - Design and implement data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric or similar tools. - Develop ingestion pipelines pulling data from APIs and databases. - Build and deploy machine learning models and AI-driven data agents. - Integrate structured enterprise data with external sources to facilitate advanced analytics. - Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure adherence to secure coding standards and policies. - Support secure API integrations, authentication, and authorization measures. - Stay updated with emerging technologies in application development and analytics. - Document system architectures, data flows, and operational processes. - Engage in training, knowledge sharing, and ongoing improvement initiatives. - Adapt to meet evolving business and technology requirements as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire opportunity based in Chicago, IL, offering a competitive pay range of $80.00 - $95.00/hr, along with various benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off.
