Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in firewall technologies
- Specialized knowledge in Checkpoint, Palo Alto, or Juniper SRX
- Experience with VPN migrations between concentrators
- Competence in unifying Checkpoint policies
- Familiarity with network standardization practices
- Skill in firewall consolidation strategies
- Proficiency in network segmentation techniques
- Knowledge of network access control methodologies
- Expertise in documentation, particularly using Visio or similar platforms
- Ability to draft cybersecurity policies and documentation for audits
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on dual demarcation point project at a campus
- Assist in migrating VPN services from one concentrator to another
- Unify and standardize firewall policies across the network
- Implement effective firewall consolidation measures
- Execute network segmentation for enhanced security
- Manage network access control systems
- Document network specifics with clarity and precision
- Develop cybersecurity policies in response to audit requirements
Description
We are seeking a REMOTE Network Security Engineer for a contract role that may transition to full-time employment. This position primarily involves working on a significant project that requires expertise in network security. The initial contract duration is estimated at 6-8 months, with a competitive pay range of $60.00 - $80.00 per hour based on experience.
