Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in business analysis specific to Finance and Insurance sectors
- Proven ability in processing financial reporting and managing accounting functionalities
- Strong skills in gathering requirements and translating them into actionable user stories
- Proficiency in SQL and financial data warehouse environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems and general ledger operations
- Previous experience in regulatory audits and finance transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to operate in environments prioritizing financial accuracy and control over speed
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and confirm requirements associated with financial close and reconciliation procedures
- Ensure clarity in user stories by establishing precise acceptance criteria
- Develop functional specifications for data reports and system interfaces
- Generate test cases to support user acceptance testing and control validation
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to analyze the impacts of upstream and downstream systems
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies, logical errors, and control risks
- Assist in addressing production challenges related to financial outcomes
- Work closely with developers, quality assurance, and data teams to guarantee solutions maintain financial accuracy, completeness, and are auditable
