Requirements
Must:
- No prior experience or up to one year of experience in the structured cabling field
- Familiarity with low-voltage installations
- Understanding of fiber optic and copper cabling
- Knowledge of color codes and cable terminations
- Basic proficiency in using hand tools and technical equipment
- Ability to adhere to safety and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Responsibilities
- Install work area outlets for various setups including modular furniture and wall mounts
- Route cables through structures effectively
- Organize and label cables during pre-termination processes
- Support and suspend cabling correctly using designated equipment
- Assemble and install communications closets and related hardware
- Conduct fire-stopping procedures and install necessary components
- Terminate low-voltage devices as required
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and within deadlines
- Follow company and industry safety standards throughout all tasks
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned
