Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, information systems, or statistics
- Excellent communication abilities
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- User-centric design and data visualization expertise
- Proficient in SQL and understanding relational database concepts
- Demonstrated experience with analytics tools
- Familiarity with Epic applications and their database structures
- Ability to learn the data model through specific coursework
- Understanding of data structures that enhance the overall data environment
- Prior experience with an AR system preferred for financial reporting (not mandatory)
- Prior experience with an EMR system preferred for clinical reporting (not mandatory)
Responsibilities
- Configure and test Epic-released and Foundation System content across various applications, including Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, Radar, and Cogito SQL
- Develop content to showcase Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle
- Write SQL and configure Radar settings for personalized SQL metrics
- Modify existing reports as needed
- Share analytics content with data consumers
- Review peer reports to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to grasp data consumer requirements
- Maintain the Analytics Catalog and relevant metadata records
- Conduct testing of analytics builds in designated testing environments and perform volume testing in live settings
- Analyze upgrade documentation related to Cogito features and evaluate implementation strategies
- May also construct and sustain Cubes, Extracts, SlicerDicer custom filters, third-party BI tools, and Epic data in Caboodle
