Requirements

Must:
- Epic Cadence and/or Prelude Certification (active and current) - Over 5 years of experience as an Epic Cadence/Prelude analyst, including involvement in at least one full implementation - Practical experience with scheduling and registration workflow development - Proficiency in configuring provider, department, and visit type setups - Participation in testing and validation processes (UAT, integrated testing) - Strong grasp of patient access workflows and registration procedures - Ability to assess complex workflows and suggest enhancements - Excellent communication skills and capability to engage with stakeholders - Experience in healthcare settings like hospital systems, clinics, or medical groups Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with additional Epic modules such as Referrals - Background in multi-specialty or high-volume scheduling environments - Experience with Epic upgrades, optimization projects, or access transformation - Understanding of revenue cycle implications related to registration accuracy and scheduling - Additional Epic certifications

Responsibilities

- Act as the subject matter expert in Epic Cadence and Prelude, covering scheduling templates, provider records, visit categories, referral workflows, and registration tasks - Create, build, configure, and sustain Epic Cadence and Prelude systems to facilitate ambulatory, hospital-based, and enterprise-wide scheduling processes - Engage in Epic implementations, enhancements, and system upgrades, focusing on workflow design, construction verification, and implementation activities - Work in conjunction with operational managers, access teams, front-desk personnel, clinicians, and IT associates to gather requirements and convert business needs into Epic solutions - Develop and maintain: - Scheduling templates and visit categories - Provider and department records - Registration workflows and data collection standards - Formulate and carry out unit testing, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT); document results and rectify issues - Provide support during go-live and post-go-live phases, including issue triage and end-user assistance - Guarantee that integrations and workflows between Cadence, Prelude, and subsequent systems (e.g., Resolute, MyChart, Referrals) operate as intended - Maintain detailed documentation for workflows, configuration alterations, and system upgrades - Follow Epic best practices, organizational guidelines, and regulatory standards - Participate in change management, release oversight, and system governance activities
