Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in Windows 10/11
- Familiarity with Active Directory services
- In-depth understanding of networking principles, including DNS and TCP/IP
- Experience in regulated environments, such as GLP, banking, pharma, or healthcare
- Proficiency in PowerShell or batch scripting is advantageous
- Track record of supporting Windows in an enterprise setting
- Functional knowledge of Active Directory and GPO application
- Deep grasp of TCP/IP interactions with Domain Controllers
- High-level analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills bridging IT and laboratory needs
- Ability to adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Experience in automation through scripting
- Familiarity with identity management during domain migrations
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the domain migration process as an additional resource
- Troubleshoot issues related to Windows 10/11, Active Directory, DNS, and TCP/IP
- Conduct active system migrations at the PC level in GLP labs
- Engage in testing migrations and uncovering potential challenges
- Assist with post-migration maintenance tasks such as tidying file shares and relocating data
- Provide virtual support to other sites and aid with non-GLP systems
- Refine or create PowerShell/batch scripts for efficient data movement if skilled
- Ensure the readiness of Windows 10/11 workstations for migration
- Manage DNS and DHCP settings for seamless domain transitions
- Oversee BitLocker recovery keys and BIOS configurations to prevent lockouts
- Implement data integrity protocols adhering to GLP standards
- Work with the Validation team to ensure post-transition system validation
- Offer personalized support to non-technical staff, patiently explaining technical changes
- Document and report migration obstacles to the project leadership for resolution

This fully onsite role involves hands-on system migrations and troubleshooting within GLP labs, offering a collaborative work environment.
