Director of Security Systems

- Take ownership of the operational performance and profitability of the security systems division - Collaborate with sales leadership to drive growth strategies in federal, educational, and commercial markets - Create scalable processes and infrastructure to facilitate business expansion - Develop and nurture strong partnerships with manufacturers and technology providers - Lead pre-sales engineering and estimation efforts - Supervise the creation of accurate project scopes, system designs, and cost assessments - Assist in complex project pursuits, including RFPs and technical solution positioning - Work alongside sales to establish pricing strategies for precise scoping and margin objectives - Direct system architecture and engineering protocols for security solutions - Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, federal guidelines, and industry best practices - Promote consistency in design, documentation, and bill-of-materials development - Manage project execution, installation, commissioning, and field operation teams - Guarantee that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards - Establish scalable processes for estimating, scheduling, and resource management - Pursue continuous improvement across project delivery and field operations - Oversee service and maintenance programs to foster recurring revenue growth - Set SLAs, service standards, and customer support procedures - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention - Lead a team of managers across key functions such as estimating, engineering, and service - Facilitate the development and mentorship of both individual contributors and frontline managers - Establish clear performance metrics, accountability, and reporting structures - Promote organizational alignment among pre-sales, delivery, and service teams
