Requirements
Must:
- Experience in providing general IT support for end users
- Proficient in light network troubleshooting
- Knowledgeable in Windows-based environments, particularly Windows 10
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Office 365
- Experience with Active Directory support, including user account management
- Ability to support VOIP phone systems
- Competence in printer mapping, connecting, and syncing for business hubs
- Basic understanding of DHCP, DNS, and networking concepts
- Experience in imaging and wiping computers for upgrades
- Familiarity with network equipment such as servers and switches
- Skills in mobile device management and troubleshooting Outlook for users
- CompTIA Certifications are preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist end users with day-to-day IT issues at our manufacturing facility
- Collaborate with an IT team member to provide support for approximately 250 office-based employees
- Monitor and ensure all systems and infrastructure services are operational
- Provide Active Directory support, including user setup and password management
- Troubleshoot and maintain VOIP phone systems
- Ensure printers and business hubs are connected and functional for end users
- Help with imaging new machines and decommissioning older equipment
- Assist in maintaining mobile device functionality and access to Outlook
- Perform light network troubleshooting as necessary
- Maintain a strictly corporate IT focus, supporting office personnel
Description
We are seeking a Tier 2 Desktop Support Technician to join our team at our Marion, AR manufacturing facility. This role involves providing vital IT support to approximately 250 office-based employees, working closely with another IT Administrator. We operate in a strictly Windows environment and provide a comprehensive range of IT services from Active Directory management to mobile device support. Our facility consists of both manufacturing and office spaces, and we pride ourselves on delivering effective solutions to enhance our operations.
