Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a medium to large enterprise environment with a focus on at least two of the following:
- Client computer hardware support
- Customer service
- Windows (XP or newer OS)
- Familiarity with Linux Operating Systems is preferred
- Government Security Clearance is advantageous but not mandatory
- Proficient in desktop support and troubleshooting across various operating systems including Windows and Linux
Responsibilities
- Provide software and hardware support for lab systems
- Maintain and upgrade systems as necessary
- Conduct technical implementation reviews with clients and colleagues
- Document and review knowledge for clarity and accessibility
- Identify process gaps and present ideas for efficiency improvements
- Support infrastructure within small/local environments
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with peers
- Communicate with customers regarding system outages and maintenance updates
