Requirements
Must:
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, TX, UT, WA, or WY
- Experience in Delta Live Tables (DLT) pipeline design and orchestration
- Proficiency in Databricks Workflows and Jobs configuration and scheduling
- Expertise in dimensional data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions)
- Knowledge in metadata framework design and data cataloging strategies
- Skills in performance tuning and cost optimization within the Databricks platform
- Familiarity with Unity Catalog governance and access control design
- Strong background in Databricks-centric data architecture
- Databricks Professional Data Engineer Certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage end-to-end data platform solutions using Databricks technologies on the Azure cloud
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to support data and analytics initiatives
- Ensure business value is realized from our data infrastructure
- Partner with IT colleagues for the early development and maturation of data infrastructure
- Maintain orchestration of DLT pipelines and configurations within Databricks workflows
- Optimize performance and cost-effectiveness of data solutions
- Develop and oversee metadata framework and data cataloging strategies
