Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- Over 10 years of practical experience in large-scale data warehousing engineering projects.
- More than 7 years in a managerial role overseeing data warehouse teams.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise data warehousing best practices for technical execution and delivering business benefits. Proven leadership in modern data architecture evolution.
- Strong organizational abilities with a history of building and guiding high-performing teams, collaborating with partners to meet business service level agreements, and ensuring timely delivery of tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging and collaborating with developers, analysts, and business associates across the organization.
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS and Snowflake, is preferred.
- Familiarity with IBM DataStage, Python/PySpark, Erwin Enterprise Data Modeler, and Tableau is advantageous.
- Knowledge of data governance and management methodologies, including data quality.
- Background in business intelligence and advanced analytics is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 12-16 members, offering strategic guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership.
- Ensure agile processes are followed, maintaining consistent momentum, clarity, and stakeholder involvement.
- Implement the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) technology strategy, ensuring it aligns with overall enterprise objectives and priority segments.
- Participate in demand management and project planning, evaluating impacts, feasibility, and estimating workload.
- Transform technical designs from the Data Architect team into physical data models that fulfill data governance, enterprise architecture, and business needs for data warehousing.
- Manage data within the data warehouse to enhance platform efficiency.
- Collaborate with operational data and acquisition teams to address incoming data sources and downstream system requirements for reporting and analytics.
- Support issue resolution and drive ongoing improvements to enhance efficiency across multiple operational metrics.
- Undertake additional tasks as required.

Your responsibilities will include shaping the strategic roadmap for data technology, enhancing the Enterprise Data Warehouse, and collaborating with various teams to build an effective data ecosystem.
