Requirements
Must:
- Basic understanding of cabling, telecommunications, or low-voltage systems.
- Capability to work in both indoor and outdoor construction environments.
- Comfort with using ladders, lifts, walking long distances, and carrying materials.
- Eagerness to learn and receive on-site training.
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools.
- Strong work ethic and dependability.
Responsibilities
- Route, install, and maintain fiber and low-voltage cabling.
- Utilize J-hooks, ladder racks, trays, and rings for cable installation.
- Assist with fiber terminations and basic splicing tasks.
- Adhere to color coding, labeling, and cable management standards.
- Construct and support telecom closets, including racks, patch panels, and backboards.
- Install basic low-voltage devices.
- Execute fire-stopping and sleeve installations as necessary.
- Complete daily documentation including timesheets, work orders, and material tracking.
- Conform to all safety and quality protocols.
- Operate basic hand tools provided for the job.
Description
We are looking for multiple technicians to assist with the infrastructure build-out inside a large new data center project located in Fayetteville, GA. Our team provides a hands-on, construction-focused environment ideal for entry-level technicians who are motivated to learn and develop in the data center and telecommunications sectors. In this role, you will gain valuable experience and have the opportunity for consistent work with guaranteed hours. Working conditions include a new construction site without air conditioning, hot conditions, and physical tasks that may require working at heights. Competitive pay ranges from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan available for eligible employees.
