Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in data center operations
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and networking principles
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs and working in confined spaces or elevated locations
- A valid drivers license and vehicle for potential travel
- Basic knowledge of Linux Operating Systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware issues
- Create and maintain documentation for supported technologies
- Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to junior technicians
- Conduct remote system administration tasks when necessary
- Perform physical repairs and diagnostics on hardware and network
- Innovate solutions to complex problems within the data center
- Execute small projects independently and assist in larger local projects
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required
Description
We are currently looking for dedicated Data Center Technicians to join our expanding team based in Ashburn, VA. This is a contract-to-hire role that offers a pay range of $23.50 - $25.00 per hour.
