Requirements
Must:
- Familiarity with hyperscaler technologies, liquid cooling, and AI/ML hosts, particularly GPU-centered systems.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (OSI layers 1-3, TCP/UDP, DHCP handshake, subnetting) and practical experience with hardware, especially in home lab or GPU architecture settings.
- 2-3+ years of relevant IT experience, particularly in Data Center or Cabling roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Willingness to commute to Boardman, Umatilla, and Hermiston, OR.
- Availability to work overtime as required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of server hardware and networking devices.
- Carry out routine hardware installations, upgrades, and decommissioning activities.
- Monitor system alerts and address issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
- Keep precise records of work completed and inventory utilized.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure operational efficiency.
Description
We are a large Data Center located in Boardman, OR, seeking multiple Data Center Technicians Level 2 to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fully onsite environment in Pasco, WA. The pay range for this position is between $24.00 and $29.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short and long-term disability, and transportation benefits.
