Critical Environment Support Engineer

- Monitor the maintenance and operations performance of equipment such as electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems within the data center with oversight - Take daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through standard rounds/logs (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.) - Support electrical infrastructures across our data center campus, including both large and smaller facilities - Provide escort support for third-party contractors, vendors, and service providers on site - Perform assigned tasks such as equipment rounds and initial assessments under supervision - Assist with emergency monitoring and response to abnormal conditions, following emergency operating procedures (EOPs) - Follow all safety protocols while working and adhere to all physical security procedures and policies - Implement operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment planned work activities - Conduct preventative maintenance for Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) quarterly and annually - Perform preventive maintenance on system control panels and batteries - Assist in troubleshooting and repairing instrument sensors and calibration - Manage Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdown operations of one source while ensuring critical load supply - Handle PDU shutdowns for power meter replacements and execute Power Interruption Testing (PIT) as necessary - Oversee master controller shutdown or replacement as assigned
