Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience securing CloudFormation/Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC)/n- Expertise in assessing and securing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments within AWS and Azure/n- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, YAML, and JSON/n- Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and key cloud service provider (CSP) native security tools including Service Control Policies, CloudWatch, Control Tower, and Azure Security Center/n- Experience with Wiz is essential/n- Advanced certification in Cloud Security, such as AWS Security Specialty, SANS GCLD, or AZ-500, is preferred/n- Strong understanding of information security and vulnerability management principles/n- Ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments characterized by ambiguity and competing demands.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Cloud Security Analyst, enhancing the enterprise Cloud Security Resilience Program and Roadmap/n- Demonstrate high-level proficiency in cloud technologies and support deployments of Wiz across varied settings/n- Collaborate with security teams in key business sectors to address vulnerabilities and compliance matters/n- Work in partnership with development teams to safeguard CI/CD pipelines/n- Offer technical assistance in securing AI models and datasets/n- Create automation solutions using Python, Terraform, and GitHub Actions/n- Contribute to the formation of baseline security controls and convert them into actionable policies/n- Monitor unresolved security issues and escalate when necessary to guarantee timely remediation/n- Provide technical support for integrating security tools within CI/CD pipelines and Secure Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC)/n- Educate and assist platform owners, application teams, and developers regarding cloud security practices and vulnerability management/n- Stay current on existing security protocols and directives related to application security and vulnerability management.
Description
We are seeking a Cloud Security Analyst to support our enterprise Cloud Security Resilience Program, focusing on enhancing security across AWS and Azure cloud environments. This remote contract position is based in East Peoria, IL, and offers a competitive pay range of $50.00 - $60.00 per hour, alongside potential benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
