Requirements
Must:
- Significant professional experience with Clojure or another functional programming language (e.g., Scala, Haskell, Elixir, Common Lisp, Julia)
- Strong experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar dynamic languages
- Experience building UIs with React.js or a similar front-end framework
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, team-focused environment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using a modern technology stack including Clojure, Python, TypeScript, and AWS services
- Build and enhance a dynamic decision-making system that adapts to user input in real time
- Implement BDD/TDD methodologies to ensure high-quality and resilient software
- Prepare applications for deployment and support production environments
- Collaborate in an Agile team setting, working closely with Product Owners, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Manage small projects independently while also contributing to larger team initiatives
