Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma/GED
- For Level I: Completion of two years of college or technical school coursework in AutoCAD (preferably AutoCAD AUD) or a related technical field
- For Level II: Minimum of Associates Degree or technical certification in AutoCAD (preferably AutoCAD AUD) along with two years of electrical utility design experience
- One year of design experience may be required for specific business units (for Level I)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in PC applications in a Windows environment
- Valid Drivers License mandatory
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and revising design drawings and associated documentation under supervision
- Compile engineering data and conduct field investigations to identify existing conditions and design needs
- Produce necessary documentation for project review and approval, ensuring timely submission
- Support lead personnel with updated field prints and drafting needs to facilitate final engineering output
- Ensure compliance with procedures, regulations, and standardized codes during task execution
- Maintain and update Design Configuration Documents utilizing manual and CADD techniques
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment to contribute positively towards projects
