Requirements
Must:
- 7-10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, particularly in healthcare provider or payer settings, with an understanding of organizational roles and workflows across clinical and administrative functions.
- Proven history of documenting workflows for endpoint devices, especially on Windows OS within intricate regional or multi-entity networks.
- Strong foundational knowledge of endpoint management practices, with required hands-on experience using Microsoft Intune for policy, compliance, and device management.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and structure comprehensive multi-quarter programs, including scoping, backlog development, sequencing, and stakeholder alignment.
- Exceptional documentation proficiency, capable of producing process maps, architecture diagrams, interview guides, and concise executive summaries.
- Advanced skills in Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, and data validation) and familiarity with diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro).
- Strong facilitation and interviewing capabilities to work effectively with clinicians, administrators, and engineers, adept at handling ambiguity and regional differences.
- Outstanding communication skills with a strong executive presence, able to interpret directives from technical leadership while independently driving outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead onsite assessments at primary campuses (Grand Rapids and East Lansing) to examine workflows and user interactions with devices.
- Conduct structured interviews with clinical and administrative personnel to gather insights on real-world workflows and issues.
- Collaborate with regional engineering teams to understand device configurations, management, and support mechanisms.
- Document current workflows for both clinical and non-clinical users, highlighting how their needs are met through Windows OS devices.
- Inventory and categorize the types of devices (desktop, laptop, tablet) used across regions, aiming to identify around 12-15 device profiles and their contexts of use.
- Create process maps, swimlanes, RACI charts, and management diagrams (such as Intune policy flows and provisioning updates).
- Evaluate endpoint management practices, emphasizing Microsoft Intune, compliance standards, application deployment, and patching procedures.
- Identify discrepancies across regions, suggest standardization strategies, and design a governance framework that aligns with clinical realities.
- Define the scope, phases, milestones, success metrics, and dependencies for a comprehensive 12+ month program.
- Recommend quick wins and long-term roadmap initiatives to enhance device governance and workflow optimization.
- Generate clear, actionable documentation, including current and future state analyses, gap reports, and risk logs.
- Compile and maintain Excel-based inventories, matrices, and trackers, ensuring the documentation remains an up-to-date repository.
