Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in software application development with:
- Python
- PHP
- Ruby on Rails
- Django
- JavaScript
- HTML5 / CSS
- Experience in GNU/Linux environments
- Proficient in CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of version control using Git
- Familiar with MVC frameworks
- Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Comfortable participating in code reviews
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Familiar with modern DBMS technologies, such as:
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- MS SQL
- Working in an Agile development environment
- Proven capability to translate user stories into functional software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (preferred)
- Familiar with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design and build software applications that meet business and customer requirements
- Conduct research to design and integrate new system features
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for internal applications
- Ensure application security by following development best practices
- Collaborate with IT personnel to enhance workflows and documentation
- Execute software testing and contribute to overall quality assurance
- Assist product owners and project managers with user stories and design
- Support various IT projects and initiatives as assigned
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices

In this role, you will work alongside skilled developers and IT professionals to design, create, and maintain applications that provide value to our agency and its customers.
