Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related engineering field required
- 5+ years of experience in IT and/or professional services, with strong subject matter expertise
- Minimum 3 years as a Cloud Architect or similar role
- At least 3 years of experience with AWS services
- Minimum 1 year of cloud migration experience
- At least 1 year working with Microservices and Serverless architectures
- Proven ability to devise innovative solutions to complex business challenges
- Extensive experience managing projects of notable complexity and scale
- Proficient in a variety of AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, and S3
- Familiarity with AWS AI/ML services like Bedrock and Amazon Q/QuickSuite
- Experience strategizing and migrating legacy enterprise applications
- Knowledge of software collaboration tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or similar
- Proficiency in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably in Terraform
- Excellent scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Basic understanding of programming in a language like C#, Java, or JavaScript
- Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, and firewalls
- Strong Linux and Windows system administration skills in cloud environments
- Ability to travel to client locations as needed
- Willingness to work remotely with teams across various time zones
- Strong presentation skills for various audiences
- Capability to identify design issues and navigate uncertainties
- Willingness to lead discussions and challenge technical standards
- Ability to implement architecture standards using tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Sharp analytical skills and proven design capabilities
- Strong sense of accountability and motivation
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in technical contexts
- Professional-level AWS certification is required
Responsibilities
- Lead the management of multiple consulting and delivery projects as a Practice Architect
- Ensure the successful transition and delivery of newly acquired deals
- Drive the engagement setup and operating model, defining relevant metrics
- Collaborate with the Delivery organization to ensure compliance with portfolio guidelines
- Identify opportunities for service enhancements and optimize processes
- Contribute to the design and improvement of service offerings
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of project team members
- Provide technical recommendations and support during pre-sales phases
- Facilitate effective internal communication to assemble project teams
- Attend kick-off and status review meetings as directed by the Delivery Manager
- Help develop performance metrics in line with customer objectives
- Stay current on industry developments and best practices for service transition
- Maintain organizational knowledge of intellectual property related to service offerings
