Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in AV integration or field service
- Proficient in troubleshooting AV systems, especially Crestron
- Ability to reverse engineer legacy AV systems
- Capable of debugging newly constructed AV systems
- Expertise with Extron, Biamp, QSC audio DSP products
- Familiarity with Cisco, POLY, and LOGITECH video conferencing systems
- Knowledge of networking equipment including Luxul, NETGEAR, and CISCO switches
- Understanding of video wall systems such as Planar, UNILUMEN, LG, Samsung, and Barco
- Proficient in troubleshooting using a multimeter
- Competent in researching and specifying replacement equipment
- Intermediate to advanced AV networking skills
- Experience with cabling and connectors, including crimping and soldering
- In-depth understanding of signal flow and low voltage electrical concepts
- Strong customer service skills and experience in client interaction
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AV systems
- Conduct onsite visits to address audio video system problems in boardrooms and conference centers
- Perform preventative maintenance and site surveys for service agreements
- Prepare concise service reports and system site surveys
- Manage multiple service projects effectively
- Lead and mentor junior and intermediate field service technicians
- Test and verify AV systems and equipments
- Interface professionally with enterprise-level customers
