Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in AV field service from an AV integration company.
- Proficient in AV troubleshooting within live corporate environments.
- Ability to utilize DSP platforms for system assessment and fault identification; Biamp Tesira experience preferred.
- Skilled in using Crestron Toolbox for device diagnostics and basic management.
- Understanding of AV signal flow, audio/video routing, EDID, HDCP, and common AV equipment.
- Basic network troubleshooting skills (including IP conflicts and VLAN awareness).
- Comfortable interpreting diagrams, wiring schematics, and system documentation.
- Strong professional communication skills with corporate and executive users.
- Capability to manage service requests independently.
- Calm and effective problem-solver in high-pressure environments.
- Customer-oriented with a keen focus on detail.
Responsibilities
- Address AV service requests across corporate environments.
- Conduct hands-on troubleshooting of AV systems, including control interfaces, audio issues, video routing, and connectivity problems.
- Identify and diagnose AV-related network challenges (such as IP conflicts and basic switch issues).
- Utilize DSP platforms to review configurations, detect faults, and assist with audio diagnostics.
- Navigate Crestron Toolbox for device management and system evaluations.
- Implement firmware updates, reset devices, and modify configurations as required.
- Support various AV technologies including:
- Crestron (DM, NVX, touch panels)
- Biamp Tesira DSP
- Extron/AMX control systems (basic knowledge is advantageous)
- Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Cisco endpoints
- AV-over-IP platforms (NVX, SDVoE)
- Displays, projectors, video walls, and switching systems.
- Collaborate with IT personnel when network-related issues arise.
- Thoroughly document all service activities in a professional manner.
