Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 10 years of practical experience in data architecture, modeling, and governance, with a successful track record in complex data ecosystems.
- Experience in regulated industries is advantageous.
- A minimum of 8 years in designing and implementing enterprise-level data structures.
- In-depth experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and modern data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Profound knowledge of data governance and security standards, including compliance with regulations.
- Strong understanding of structuring data for machine learning and AI tasks, including familiarity with MLOps systems.
- Practical experience with data classification and cataloging tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the capability to influence and gain consensus.
- Professional certifications in data architecture, governance, or cloud platforms are preferred.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL/ELT frameworks is preferred.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of the organization’s enterprise data architecture.
- Oversee data governance and management initiatives to ensure data security and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives.
- Define and enforce best practices and data strategies throughout the organization.
- Guide and mentor team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Implement effective data modeling and warehousing techniques to enhance data accessibility.
- Manage the integration of data across various platforms to support business functions.
- Monitor and refine data governance programs to address compliance and security issues.
