Must:
We are looking for candidates with a solid understanding of computer hardware, servers, and related components. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Data Center or IT Hardware role is essential. Experience with the deployment, decommissioning, and troubleshooting of devices is required, and familiarity with GPU deployment will be a significant advantage. If you are considering the opportunity, please note that relocation to the Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin area is necessary.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to monitor systems for equipment failures or performance errors and respond to any program error messages by identifying and resolving issues or halting the program as needed. You will also assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new applications. Your tasks will include operating spreadsheet software and other applications to load and manipulate data and generate reports. Additionally, you'll be responsible for handling the break-fix of GPUs, servers, networks, and cabling, along with managing tickets within the ITSM framework. You will also prepare, stage, set up, and conduct basic startup and shutdown procedures for hardware with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads.

This position offers a competitive salary, ranging from $30.00 to $50.00 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package for eligible candidates that may include Medical, Dental, Vision, and various insurance options. Participation in a 401(k) retirement plan is available, alongside other benefits such as health spending accounts and employee assistance programs. This is an onsite role located in Detroit, MI.
