Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3 years working with public cloud platforms
- Proficient in communication, customer service, analytical thinking, mentoring, and problem-solving
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework for service management best practices
- Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and managing resources in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform
- Expertise with public cloud technologies including IaaS and PaaS
- Experience utilizing DevOps and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and Terraform
- Familiarity with cloud security, governance, and cost-management best practices
- Preferred: Knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Preferred: Additional hands-on experience with Azure and/or GCP beyond the baseline
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Proactively identify issues, improvement opportunities, and system performance limitations
- Work with traditional infrastructure platforms such as hypervisors, SAN, and NAS technologies
- Administer Windows operating systems and participate in scheduled off-hours maintenance and on-call rotations
- Maintain a strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and cost-management best practices
- Collaborate on deploying and managing cloud resources in Azure and Google Cloud
- Utilize DevOps and IaC techniques for automation and infrastructure provisioning
