Requirements
Must:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- A Secret (or higher) level U.S. government security clearance is necessary for this role; an inactive clearance eligible for reactivation is acceptable.
- Successful completion of a full-scope background check is mandatory before employment.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Considerable relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, pending client approval.
- Must be willing to travel domestically up to 10% when necessary.
- Proficient communication skills, both oral and written.
- Capability to collaborate within a hybrid (partially on-site, partially remote) team framework.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, WebEx, Meet, Zoom, etc.).
- Additional tasks may be assigned as required.
Responsibilities
- We seek a proficient and driven MATLAB / C++ software developer with proven experience in software engineering and algorithm implementation.
- Your expertise will help our team create models and algorithms to optimize vehicle system performance concerning efficiency, safety, control stability, optimality, and mission success.
- Collaborate with the product design and engineering teams to implement code based on algorithms from subject matter experts across several areas: Guidance, Control, Navigation, and Command and Control (C2).
- Function independently or as part of a team within an AGILE product development lifecycle, participating in requirements drafting, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
- Engage with team members across time zones using tools like Teams, Slack, GitHub, Zoom, Jira, and shared documents, along with frequent video conferences.
- Take part in all phases of the agile product development process, including design, implementation, and deployment for both internal and external client projects.
