Software Developer - Java and Python

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Over 3 years of professional software development experience - More than 1 year of experience in an Agile development environment - Proven track record of delivering projects from inception to completion - Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework; openness to adopting the latest .NET technologies - Familiarity with Java and readiness to utilize equivalent Java frameworks (like Hibernate, JPA) - Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles - Knowledge of design patterns including CQRS, API Gateways, and event-driven design - Experience in building and designing REST APIs - Understanding of distributed systems and microservice architectures - Proficiency with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, Azure SQL, and Oracle - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation - Familiar with GitHub and GitHub Actions - Experience with AI-assisted development tools (like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) - Familiarity with the Atlassian toolset, especially JIRA - Knowledge of networking protocols and cybersecurity best practices - Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Excellent organizational capabilities - Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse development team - Skill in managing multiple features and refactoring/support tasks simultaneously - Ability to ensure development sprints stay on track - Enthusiasm for keeping up with technology trends - Strong analytical skills for problem-solving - Ability to prioritize tasks and diplomatically negotiate with stakeholders - Commitment to continuous self-improvement and technical growth
