Requirements

Must:
- 2+ years of hands-on administration of Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and Windows Server 2016–2022 in a multi-tenant/MSP or complex enterprise setting. - Proven expertise in managing VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V environments, including VM lifecycle, templates, and virtual networking. - Practical experience with server builds, workload migrations, and file/data migrations. - Familiarity with VM and server backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Acronis) and recovery testing protocols. - Strong PowerShell scripting capabilities for Microsoft cloud administration and automation. - Excellent troubleshooting skills for Windows endpoints, related peripherals, and cloud-integrated services. - Solid understanding of contemporary security principles (Zero Trust, Conditional Access, MFA enforcement, device compliance). - An Associate degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience/certifications. - A valid drivers license with a clean record and dependable personal transportation.

Responsibilities

- Administer and secure multi-tenant Microsoft 365 environments, including licensing, Exchange Online, and SharePoint/Teams governance. - Develop, deploy, and manage Intune policies such as Autopilot, compliance/configuration profiles, and app packaging. - Design and enforce Entra ID Conditional Access, MFA standards, and identity governance processes. - Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016–2022 environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user/group management. - Oversee VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V hosts, including VM creation, management, and virtual networking. - Build and migrate servers, transitioning from physical to virtual or server-to-server, while performing file/data migrations across environments. - Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions, including snapshot management and recovery testing with tools like Veeam or Acronis. - Understand VLANs, IP addressing, routing fundamentals, and firewall configurations affecting server and VM connectivity. - Support hybrid AD and Microsoft Azure IaaS environments via Entra ID Connect. - Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell/Graph API, generating insightful reports. - Act as the escalation point for complex tickets/issues, mentoring Help Desk Agents I & II. - Lead root-cause analysis and problem management efforts to minimize recurring incidents. - Contribute to and maintain internal SOPs/Knowledge Bases to enhance team problem-solving capabilities. - Proactively assess client needs and recommend strategic improvements for security configurations and operational efficiency. - Meet or exceed service level agreements and mean time to resolution targets, ensuring clear and timely communication with stakeholders. - Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support as needed.
