Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering and/or solution architecture delivering cutting-edge systems to production
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities along with excellent organizational skills
- Proven capability to articulate and convey technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders
- Skilled in making architectural judgments across critical domains
- Ability to advocate for consultative methods in technical implementation
- Hands-on coding and review experience is preferred
- Demonstrated capacity to lead intricate technical projects
- Familiarity with scaled agile methodologies
- Awareness of market trends and industry developments
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide the team responsible for designing and deploying technology solutions that meet the needs of internal and external clients
- Direct solution delivery, ensuring adherence to compliance, and facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams
- Establish and implement architectural standards and governance to maintain consistency
- Evaluate architecture decisions considering factors such as reliability, scalability, flexibility, and security
- Engage in strategic planning to future-proof IT standards for the organization
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership for direct reports
- Support the professional development of direct reports through feedback and growth plans
- Participate in the annual budgeting process by developing, analyzing, and presenting operating and capital budgets to senior leadership
- Utilize AI tools to automate routine tasks, enhance optimization and productivity, and incorporate it into strategic planning and data-driven forecasting
- Monitor departmental spending and analyze discrepancies between actual and budgeted outcomes
