Operations Systems Specialist

The ideal candidate should possess strong abilities to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, write reports, and effectively present information to various audiences. Proficiency in basic mathematical skills and a strong understanding of financial terminology are essential. You should be adept at solving practical problems and interpret various instructions provided in different formats. A sound understanding of Sysco technology software and programs is important, as well as a working knowledge of shipping procedures, inventory control processes, and methods for repairing hardware and software. Your interpersonal skills should allow you to engage and lead discussions proactively, work well within a team structure, and cooperate constructively with colleagues from different departments. You should be organized, manage your time efficiently, and adhere to established policies and procedures while identifying and solving problems effectively. Physical demands include being able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, and the workload may be performed in varying environmental conditions. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required, along with occasional travel to other locations for training or business needs.
