Requirements
Must:
- Education Required: A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience Required: At least 7 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or managerial position.
- Licenses/Certifications Required: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or an equivalent certification.
- Technical Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP), proxy, endpoint, and cloud security solutions. Strong troubleshooting capabilities, along with experience in addressing tool-related support challenges.
Responsibilities
- I will oversee the deployment, configuration, and upgrades of our cybersecurity tools.
- I am responsible for responding to and resolving support tickets, tool-related incidents, and integration challenges promptly.
- I will maintain comprehensive documentation of tool configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- I will lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity engineers, guiding them in managing our portfolio of security tools.
- I will support audit and compliance activities by supplying tool data, reports, and documentation.
- I will lead projects related to tool evaluation, procurement, and implementation.
- I shall manage vendor relationships, including handling support escalations, contract renewals, and roadmap discussions.
- I will develop and carry out strategic plans for tool deployment, lifecycle management, and integration with our enterprise systems.
Description
We are looking for a hands-on and strategic Cyber Engineering Manager to guide a team tasked with deploying, maintaining, and supporting essential cybersecurity tools. My goal is to ensure these tools are properly integrated, operational, and consistently improved over time.
