Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience with ServiceNow IRM, particularly in GRC processes and modules.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in risk management, GRC, or similar fields, showcasing a thorough understanding of enterprise risk and controls processes.
- Proven history of converting complex business requirements into precise, applicable specifications for extensive ServiceNow IRM deployments.
- Expertise in essential IRM functions including Risk Identification, Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA), Issue Management, Incident Management, Loss Events, and Controls Testing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the ServiceNow IRM suite and its functionalities, encompassing Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, and Audit Management.
- Deep familiarity with GRC and risk management frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation capabilities, able to connect effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leading workshops, gathering requirements, and conveying intricate information to various organizational levels.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
- (Preferred) Familiarity with Agile or other iterative development methodologies.
- (Preferred) Experience with additional risk management software or enterprise risk processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to define, analyze, and validate GRC/IRM requirements.
- Convert business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and process flow diagrams for implementation within ServiceNow IRM.
- Create risk-related materials such as risk registers, risk assessment methodologies, and control frameworks.
- Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure alignment with strategic GRC objectives.
- Lead discovery workshops and carry out process analyses to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Serve as the functional owner of the ServiceNow IRM solution to ensure it meets business goals effectively.
Description
We are engaged in the Risk Controls Enhancements (RCE) initiative, an enterprise-wide effort centered on modernizing and consolidating our Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC) processes, data, and reporting. This position is based in Chicago, IL, and requires an onsite presence from day one. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to be a subject matter expert in risk management processes, playing a crucial role in defining and documenting requirements for the ServiceNow IRM platform.
