Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in creating instruction manuals, how-to guides, and other related documentation for complex IT systems.
- More than 3 years of experience in researching, outlining, writing, and editing content while collaborating closely with different departments to comprehend project needs.
- At least 3 years of experience in collecting information from subject-matter experts to develop, structure, and produce procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
- Over 3 years of experience in working with development and support teams to identify documentation repositories, edit and revise content, and find optimal solutions for data organization and centralized storage.
- More than 3 years of experience in researching, designing, and maintaining information architecture templates that comply with organizational and legal requirements, facilitating easy data migration.
- At least 3 years of experience in creating content in various media formats for enhanced usability, ensuring a consistent voice throughout all documentation.
- Preferred experience in technical writing related to ServiceNow applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce high-quality technical documentation, including instruction manuals and training guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and clarify project requirements.
- Interview subject-matter experts to compile accurate and comprehensive procedural documentation.
- Revise and enhance existing documentation to improve clarity and usability based on user feedback.
- Create and maintain information architecture that aligns with both organizational standards and legal regulations.
- Explore alternative media formats to present information effectively, ensuring consistency in tone and style across all materials.
