Requirements
Must:
- Python Programming: Strong coding skills for automation
- Selenium WebDriver: Hands-on experience in UI test automation
- Cucumber & BDD: Experience in Gherkin syntax and step definition development
- Generative AI: AI-driven test automation expertise with LLMs and NLP
- CI/CD: Experience integrating automation with Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- API Testing: Proficient in REST API automation using Python frameworks like Requests and PyTest
- Test Management Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.
- Cloud & Virtualization: Experience with Docker, AWS, Azure, or Lambda for cloud-based testing
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Independence: Capability to work autonomously in an Agile and DevOps environment
Responsibilities
- Design and create automated test scripts using Java, Python, Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD frameworks
- Build and maintain scalable, reusable, robust test automation frameworks
- Implement and run functional, regression, and end-to-end automation tests
- Integrate automation tests within CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Utilize Generative AI for enhancing process automation
- Create Gherkin-based BDD test cases and work with Cucumber
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define test scenarios
- Implement step definitions ensuring smooth execution of BDD tests
- Identify and automate repetitive manual tasks using Python and Selenium
- Optimize workflow automation with Python scripts
- Enhance test execution efficiency through parallel processing
- Log and manage defects using tools like JIRA or TestRail
- Produce and distribute detailed execution reports with logs, screenshots, and AI-driven insights
- Partner with development teams to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve automation failures
- Stay current with the latest trends in automation and implement best practices
