Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Perl programming and text processing
- Expertise in Python scripting and Unix shell scripting
- Strong experience with database connectivity (sqlplus) for querying and managing data
- Familiarity with automation processes for various services
- Capability to utilize MQ for communication
- Basic knowledge of Oracle SQL, with the ability to create queries as per requirements
- Skills in identifying long-running queries for troubleshooting
- Ability to write Splunk queries for error capture and details
- Experience in creating Splunk dashboards
- Proficient in basic script and application troubleshooting, including log validation
- Knowledge in validating script flow and functionality
Responsibilities
- Develop and automate text processing and related services
- Write and maintain Python and Unix shell scripts
- Connect to databases using sqlplus to execute queries and manipulate data
- Automate various services and processes as requested
- Utilize MQ utility for effective service communication
- Perform basic Oracle SQL queries and identify optimization opportunities
- Construct Splunk queries to monitor and capture detailed error reports
- Design and implement Splunk dashboards for visualizing performance metrics
- Validate logs and troubleshoot scripts to ensure operational efficiency
- Oversee the script workflow and confirm its proper functionality
