Requirements
Must:
- A solid grasp of cloud security architectures on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with threat modeling practices.
- Knowledge of application security principles.
- Familiarity with security control frameworks, including MITRE CAPEC and CWE, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
Responsibilities
- Assess cloud services to ensure compliance with both internal and external security requirements and control frameworks.
- Identify potential threats, mitigation strategies, and provide assurance evidence for the formal certification of cloud services through detailed assessment documentation.
- Create clear and standardized security patterns for recognized cloud services, ensuring each pattern encompasses defined threats, mitigations, and comprehensive implementation guidance.
- Incorporate security patterns within the threat modeling tool, ensuring alignment of threat and control mappings with our assurance framework.
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and compliance teams to optimize the service certification process and review updates from cloud providers to refine patterns as necessary.
- Share expertise with other teams on effective utilization of security patterns.
