Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 8 years in IT or, if no degree, 9 years of IT experience
- At least 8 years of project management experience in the financial services or banking sector
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and all phases of the SDLC
- Willingness to travel for business as needed
- Agile experience as a Scrum Master and familiarity with SAFe Scaled Agile methodologies
- Preferably experience with web, mobile, or ASP companies
- Proven ability to align business strategies with IT initiatives
- Strong collaborative skills across functional teams in a matrixed organization
- Sound business acumen, particularly in financial services
- History of timely and budget-conscious execution of critical business projects
- Ability to lead and inspire teams in cross-functional environments
- Capacity to drive organizational change effectively
- Exceptional decision-making and vendor management abilities
- Self-motivated with excellent prioritization and deadline management skills
- Expertise in technology evaluation and solution engineering, with a focus on architecture
- Competency in translating business requirements into technical specifications for projects
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the Information Security Agile Release Train and Solution Train processes
- Escalate impediments to ensure smooth workflow and delivery of value
- Oversee Program Increment sessions, SI Escalation meetings, and MVP releases for the Solution Train
- Enhance communication and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress and commitments
- Identify and remove barriers that impact the delivery of solutions
- Act as a leader and coach for the Release Train Engineer community
- Manage workflows across the ART and Solution Train to align with strategic objectives
- Organize and prepare for PI Planning activities to maintain readiness and transparency
- Monitor feature execution and provide insights into risks and delivery confidence
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Engineering, and Agile PMO teams for alignment
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Conduct Inspect and Adapt workshops to evaluate and enhance agility across teams
- Support communities of practice and advocate for Built-In Quality practices
- Undertake additional assignments or special projects as designated
